SE stormtrooper or 501st stormtrooper

You know costuming is my favorite (along with designing weapons, armor and tanks) and that's why I wanted to join the 501st. I settled for a supreme edition stormtrooper costume a while back, thinking that was what you guys had too. But then I realized yours are a lot more realistic and probably easier to move around in. I think the only visual difference is the helmets and the details on how sharp the lines are. But the build must be a lot nicer and more compact, and not just velcro.
I never really knew the difference, so I was just wondering what it was.

it's more or less a question on the quality of the armor, trust me I had the same preconception with the SE edition, before I switched to FX armor. Look up one of the Rubies mods on FISD/white armor, there are some pretty good mods out there

I seen the SE armor at a costume store and believe me you don't want it :( For one thing the bucket look
like something from the simpson, the eyes blug out like crazy :whatthe: and the armor it self looks litte to loose
to be worn right. your best bet is to cheak out E-bay or check with fellow trooper for the best armor
for your buck. :D

Rich.

A new bucket and a lot of work and $$ to make it look good. For the cost of mods+new bucket and the money spent on the Rubies TK, you could have got the best sent of armor out there and still have money left over to spend on anything.

But check out the FISD

To make the SE 501st acceptable you have to replace the helmet, and properly fit the armor as the fit is terrible out of the box for anyone no matter their size.

If you could snag a ROTJ helmet the armor makes a decent ROTJ suit.

Good luck.
