Howdy!
I'm working on getting my ESB Stormtrooper costume ready for 501st submission and getting close!
Questions on helmet MODs...
1. Fans - Saw several posts that the preferred method is two smaller Radio Shack PC fans blowing out the aerators, and a larger fan pulling air in through the nose vents.. Anyone have pictures or advice for attempting this for the first time on an eFX Helmet?
2. Sounds System - Havent' scoured the forums too much on this yet, so sorry if I'm repeating a question here but what is the best bang for your buck for a mic/speaker system in the helmet.. Are there some hands down favorites out there? and are they any links out there with install instructions?
Thanks!

Also don't forget for the eFX helmet to be acceptable you have to add the ear screws, replace the tube stripe decals, replace the lenses, and fill the frown seam.
I think most troopers use the Aker amp. You can find them for sale on the FISD (www.whitearmor.net).

If you are on the Legion forums, here is a link for the Aker.
I have the 10 amp and it is very loud and I really like it.
I use it for my TK and my Tusken too with an audio loop.

Thanks Jerry and Terrell for the headset info.
Included some pictures here of my helmet, just to verify I need to make those modfications (ear screws, replace the tube stripe decals, replace the lenses, and fill the frown seam).
Wasn't sure when I mentioned eFx if I referenced correctly what my actual helmet was...
Included are pics of my helmet.
Thanks.

Quick Question:
I went to the WhiteArmor.net site and the Helmet Tutorial on the 501st Costume Reference library, but couldn't find any additional Helmet help on the items you mentioned:
ear screws, replace the tube stripe decals, replace the lenses, and fill the frown seam.
You don't have any URLS that helps with converting the eFX helmet to specs do you?
Sorry somewhat a newbie at this.
Thanks!

Here is the public sales link for the Aker amp.
I'll see if I can dig up a link for the MRCE/Efx mods.

Thanks Terrell!
Attached a few pictures of progress.
- wasn't wearing neck seal and still working on belt and knees, and need to add more elastic to torso to pull butt-plate up, those aren't my final shoes, they are the mariachi shoes for halloween. Finally still need to Mod the gun and helmet.
