READY TO ENLIST?

You built your costume, checked it against the CRL, and now you are ready to submit your photos to our Garrison Membership Liaisons (GMLs). Click on the Costume Submission button at the bottom of this page to submit your costume!

The following photos are required for your submission to be considered:

  • Full length Front
  • Full length back
  • Full length left side
  • Full length right side
  • Front with helmet/mask off (if applicable)
  • Action pose

If the CRL mentions specific details that are hard to see in the above photos, please include those as well. It is always better to submit more photos than not enough.

The following tips will help make sure that you get the right photos to the GML on your first try:

  • Make sure to use a plain or non-busy background (no convention photos, please). Please avoid green screen as it tends to reflect poorly on the armor and makes editing the photos difficult for the website.
  • Be sure to take your photos with adequate lighting and at a high-resolution to help us inspect the details.
  • Ensure there are no extra filters applied when taking the photos
  • Do not wear any non-canon accessories or add-ons, including jewelry, sunglasses, earrings, (unit patches, extra weapons, pauldrons when not part of the canon costume etc...)
  • If you include any weapons, such as a blaster or lightsaber, please ensure they conform to the weapons policy.
  • Be prepared to take more photos during the application process if asked, as we may wish to see closer details or verify individual ownership of the costume. As costumes are individual to the member, joint ownership isn’t recognized.
It may take up to 2 weeks to review and process your application. Please remember that our command team are volunteers. If you have questions about your application status, please contact the GMLs at gml@greatlakesgarrison.com.

If for some reason your costume is not approved in the first round of review, the GML will work with you and provide recommendations and resources to assist you in modifying your costume to meet Legion requirements.
