Vader possibly for sale in TN
Hi Folks - this is Ron down har in Tennessee! You might be proud to know that I have still not said "y'all" yet - I am making an effort to keep my "weird" Yankee heathen accent. One of our Darth Vaders may be wanting to sell his 501st approved armor. He's going through tough time...

Re: TK Helmet fan system recommendations?
I just bought a Troopacoola system, and an Anker power source. Unfortunately, I bought the bigger Anker, and it's too big for me to wear that part in the back, and get my bucket on. I will have to troop tomorrow at the Whitecaps with it in the front, and deal with the weight being too heavy in front...

Re: Question about individual "troops"
For sure! I am already checking into how to be an EC? (event coordinator, is that correct?) for this next year. I know they got a lot of donations, and the bucket was so full about half way through, people had to jam their bills into the bucket... not mine :) I think my armor passed the test well en...

Re: Question about individual "troops"
In case anyone was checking this, I wanted to post that no media was there at the bell ringing I did today. Actually kind of glad, since I was nervous about possibly saying the wrong thing. However, I had an absolute blast at the event! I know it was not an official troop, and to go through the prop...

Re: Question about individual "troops"
Excellent, thanks! Yes, I have been doing my homework (as a teacher, I value this), and if there is any coverage at all, I know to mention that the 501st is separate from Lucasfilm/Disney. I will also be sure to do any interviews with bucket off. Of course, I will await official word. I know my plac...

Question about individual "troops"
I put 'troop' in quotes only because I recently contacted my local Salvation Army to volunteer as a bell ringer in my armor. I sent them a photo of my newly approved TK armor, and they love the idea - so much so, that they asked my permission to speak with their public relations people, and there ma...

Re: Visting DMC Children's Hospital
Funny, I was just going to post a question about how to get involved with this. I was just recently approved as a TK, and one thing I've been looking forward to the most is these types of visits. I am definitely interested if you are in need of a TK Stunt. Let me know - thanks!

TK Helmet fan system recommendations?
Hey All, I'm still waiting for my official acceptance, but my armor is done. Now I need a helmet fan system, and whenever I ask on white armor, Troopacola chimes in with his system. Does anyone have his system, or ukswrath's system? Hoping to get more people on one side or another to help me with th...

SOLD- ESB TK hand guards and helmet stickers
I originally bought an ESB TK kit from ATA armor works, but I switched to ANH. Never used these hand guards - I began trimming one, but did not touch the hand guard, itself. Both are in excellent condition. $10 each, plus shipping. Buyer pays PayPal G&S fees unless you want F&F. Full disclos...

Re: Newbie
How tall? I have a TK suit for sale - it's completely unused, in fact, untrimmed - the build never even got started. I bought it off a guy who bought it from Anovos. Unless you are like 6'10" or something, it would do fine for you. Get back to me if interested. I have it for sale on here alread...

ISO trade - my black for your brown leather holster straps, ANH TK Stunt
ISO trade - my black for your brown leather holster straps for ANH TK Trooper. I was originally going ESB, but switched to ANH, so I have the black leather holster straps - now I need the brown. Mine have never been used, only collected a little dust - in perfect condition. Hoping to find a local st...

Re: Questions about body armor...
I have used snaps from the beginning and have not had any issues or needed to replace them. I thing they were very easy to install and very secure. Thanks! I think I will use snaps. My problem is the armor itself. I am trying to use all snaps and straps, no brackets, and it's very difficult to get ...

Re: Questions about body armor...
Thanks, fellas! I am considering just going with velcro for the belt attachment to the body, then like you said, move up to using snaps if necessary.

Questions about body armor...
First question - what do people use to attach the belt face to the canvas belt? A couple people have suggested Chicago screws, one said jean buttons. Chicago screws seem easier, so that's what a moron like myself needs. What length is best? Second - when trying the belt on around my armor (which is ...

Re: Looking to modify or trade for ANH blaster
Oh, I didn't know that about not needing it for approval. Thanks! Yes, I've posted on white armor - no responses yet. On Facebook's Anovos page, everyone just directs me to Doopy Doos. That helps though, your tip on not needing it for approval. Much appreciated!

Looking to modify or trade for ANH blaster
I was originally going to be an ESB TK Trooper, but I have switched to ANH. I bought an ESB E-11 blaster, and I know that I only need a couple parts to modify it to ANH. If anyone has a good ANH blaster, or knows how I can acquire the parts to modify mine to ANH, please contact me. I would rather ke...

Re: For Sale: ATA TK
I'm guessing you're not selling this in parts? I could really use new thighs - I'm still working on my armor, but I screwed up the thighs.
