Re: Finalizing GA Legends Outfit
SO excited to hear this costume is coming along! If you haven't already seen this thread on the IOC forum, I would definitely try to stick to the vendors mentioned here: https://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1817-ioc-costume-resource-list/ I did see this post. Previously CosSky had...

Re: Finalizing GA Legends Outfit
Never heard of them and kind of leery, as it looks like they are using Cossky pics. I was trying to look more at the reviews that have photos of the outfits. The pants seem more baggy to me. Another IOC member pointed out that some of the seems stand out. There also seem to be some buttons in place...

Finalizing GA Legends Outfit
Hi all, After collecting parts for a few years now I am looking to get a proper tunic ordered for my Grand Admiral outfit. With two little ones now joining me at some events I really wanted to finish up a cloth outfit. I found a dealer on Etsy that does custom fitting (outfits looks similar to CosSk...

Re: Wizard World Chicago
Up in the air if I will be attending. Just made the investment in a dog today  I stayed at the Embassy Suites which is directly connected to the convention center with the Skywalk. It is a very nice hotel, but a bit pricy if I remembers correctly (best to look for online deals or see if any...

Keep an eye on the "Unconfirmed" area of the event board. I am seeing a lot of requests come in regarding that date and FCBD as well.

Re: ANN ARBOR metro area TK armor party
I am down for an Armor Party, probably working more on my TB vs TK stuff. Still have an untouched suit sitting in the basement. Still determining what I want to turn it in to lol

Re: New Biker Scout
Hey guys, I'm new to cosplay and would like to get some info on where to get the armor for a Biker Scout. Also, if I were to paint it black or camo would that effect membership? Thanks! Welcome!!! First let me start by saying we "Troop" vs cosplay  Many of the fun things we...

Even $650 is not bad if it comes with the finished bucket.

Re: Snowtrooper
We should make it a goal to have more Snowys than TK's
It is Michigan after all. If this keeps up we could have the most in the Legion. I know out west there are a few others. When we are done won't we be at the 13-14 mark of Snowtroopers in the GLG ?

Re: Snowtrooper
BREWSKI .. if I'm correct, I think you got your Mukluks from the same guy I got mine from on eBay. If so, they are in very good shape! Joe I believe so. They got here last week, almost look brand new, fit perfectly. Which is a surprise because I have very small feet ;) MCCC will be my first wearing...

Re: Submission Photo Advice
It is amazing how fast the times change
Soon you will be able to wear a camera in your eye. The contact camera, linked to your brain and activated when you want a photo. Of course Google Glass can do that too.

Re: Submission Photo Advice
I know cell phone cameras have come a long way, but be cautious. Although 16 Megapixels should do the trick
I ended up using a high end camera for pics when it was all said and done. But my first photos were taken with an iPhone 4s
(8 Megapixels if I am not mistaken)

Re: My Big Brown Box Arrived!
Just be sure not to cut the ears completely flat
I have seen a few friends do that and had to order new parts. Golden rule: Measure twice cut once

Re: My Big Brown Box Arrived!
Take it slow, one part at a time. Most start with the Biceps and smaller armor first. Helmet can be difficult with ear pieces and screws (note I am not an expert by any means and my "bucket" was built by another member) Best of luck with your build. Be sure to post pictures here and FISD t...
