What costume are you working on?
Each costume type has a dedicated forum where you can maintain a build log, communicate with prospective and current members, study other people's builds, source reputable vendors...

Re: Costuming question

Re: Got a interesting situation here
I do have one more question, if he transfers from the canadian garrison to this one would he have to resubmit approval photos? Once approved, as long as he stays an Active Member (one official troop per year) he will not have to resubmit. He can apply for the GLG right from the get. Shouldn't have ...

Re: Event nomenclature question
UC = Unconfirmed
DB = Database
When we received an event request it is initially listed as UC. Once someone commits to being the Event Coordinator (EC), the event is confirmed and added to the event database.

Re: Anyone know what is up with clonetroopers.net?
Sorry that's what I meant. Dunno why I've been saying the other this whole time. I had a sign up completed, then a few months went by. Tried to contact an admin, but no response there either Hmm. Have you tried shooting them a message via Facebook? I know sometimes people get stuck in "pending...

Re: Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus AOTC
Yeah, I had been told by others that the saber was optional, but when I read the CRLs it showed up in black text, meaning required. So, I just assumed it was. I would appreciate it if you could check, Stasz. Or, if you want to direct me to who I should check with that would be great too. Thanks! As...

Re: Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus AOTC
Actually, weapons are not a requirement. But if you want one, I'm sure you could just do the hilt. Interestingly, in the CRL the saber isn't listed under an "optional" section as weapons typically are, like you mentioned. I can check with the Sith Lord Detachment for clarification, but by...

Re: Tigers Star Wars Night
Are you just requiring Main Characters or looking for officers also? This is from a year ago. Look under official events. Under major events is the Tiger game. benitezb66 is a newly approved member with 2 forum profiles. The other profile has Garrison member permissions. I've messaged him to sort i...

Re: Just making sure I do everything right.
Your best resource for build information will be the First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment forums, here: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/ There are tons of tutorials, build threads, examples, and information. There are a few different ways these things can be put together when it comes to joints, ...

This is from the Code Disk detail page: Imperial Code Disk: A stepped cone shape appearing to be 3 disks stacked on top of one another. Occasionally a 2 stepped version is seen, such as on the Snowtrooper Commander. The bottom disk is 1" (25.3 mm) the middle disk is 3/4" (19.1 mm) and the ...

Re: Guest Trooper status for new costumes
If the EC okays AND the event is not an LFL event (i.e. major/minor league sporting events) the guest trooper or member with unapproved costume can submit pics as they would for regular approval to the GMLs (chillywill and myself).

Re: ANH Vader- Submitted! (And questions on TKID Numbers)
Tyler, I received your pictures. Good luck! I hear the guy who reviews costumes is a real jerk! :wink: My TKID is my wedding anniversary, because I never would have been able to put together a costume (let alone 2) without my wife's patience with me transforming the dining room table into an armory,...
