I know the helmet I'm going for is actually considered Rebel Legion, but I figured my 501st brothers (& sisters) know more about helmets than anyone...
My husband wants a Senate Guard/Blue Guard costume, the one from Episode 1 (and 2, I think) with the open face. My question is, is it possible to make one without vacu-forming it? We don't have a lot of money so I doubt we could afford to have one made for us (I know of at least one guy who does them). Has anyone here ever attempted their own helmet? I've already joined the Royal Guard forums, but I'd like to hear opinions from local people.
Thanks!

Re: Helmet help?
Nice costume choice.
Here are a couple threads from The Dented Helmet, where guys made Boba helmets from cardboard.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

I have not tried to make my own helmet, but I have seen it done with some very basic materials.Mieal_Deneb wrote:My question is, is it possible to make one without vacu-forming it? Cardboard?!
Wow, that last one is amazing! I wouldn't have thought cardboard could look so good! Wow. Thanks for the links.
