Hello. I'm looking to join the 501st and am looking to do so with RC kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have 2 troopers working on some right now. Boss and Sev and a 3rd on a wait list for Scorch. Talk to Jaster or Darth Foo . They can tell you who you need to talk with. but be ready for a 8 month or more wait list if you want the good kit that is out there. You may find some on Ebay from time to time but 95% and up of those are the Junky set. and will not look right with the other 2-3 kits being worked on right now.

Just to note, it's not a requirement to do one of the 4 characters from the game, nor is one restricted from doing a character that's already in development by a current member or prospect. Hell, we could have 7 Sevs in Michigan if people wanted to (just that attending events might be a bit awkward....) -- there's the difference in owning the costume vs. trooping in the costume.

501st-accepted variations may include the 4 game versions as well as Omega Squad members (all black) or non-characters (all white/grey). Check with the Clone Troopers Detachment (http://www.clonetroopers.net) for full details (but remember to do a search first, as most common questions have been asked already).

But if you want to be COOL you'll do Fixer! LOL We sure could use a fixer to complete a set in Michigan. I'm building SEV, Jaster is building BOSS, Wags is planning on SCORCH, soooooo wesa needin a fixer!

After seeing your armor in person it Looked awesome!! Nic whatever character you do or just a Generic RC you will be happy with the PA kit.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Ducky. I'm really looking forward to being a part of something as HUGE as the 501st, and since TD866 has already ordered his Fixer armor I'm gonna do an Omega RC. Although I have become very partial to all four of them I will most likely become Fi, because he has become my favorite character from the novels (I haven't read "Order 66" yet. I want to keep my library of books all paperback, which doesn't get released 'til May 19). My girlfriend has read the books that I have and she says that I kinda remind her of Fi in some of the ways that I do things. Personally I don't see it, but she does. There's that, and Fi is her favorite RC out of all that are mentioned.

I have five other costumes if you would like to do Fixer and troop I will step over to my tusken or something else. We can have more than one Fixer in the GLG, so if you had your heart on Fixer go for it you would not be stepping on my toes.

Naa, its cool man. I was originally gonna do an Omega anyways. Foo had talked me into doing Fixer, but I really wanted to do an Omega. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do Fi. Good luck with Fixer man.

Eventually, we'll have both Delta and Omega squads filled. What's next? We definitely will need a Kal Skirata, Walon Vau and a few Null Arcs then

Sigh I wont have that much cash saved for quite some time. The move back to MI drained me.
