RC/TC/CT black undersuit

Post by Nik-Lass »

I know what the usual consensus is about the undersuit, but has anyone used a wet suit before? If so how did it work out? I've been pricing some out and the ones I'm looking at are "only" about $80-$90. Any and all suggestions or comments are welcome and appreciated.
It's always better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

We don't wear wetsuits... If we did, most of us would be keeling over with heatstroke!

We use lycra diveskins. They run $30 to $50 depending on brand and where you buy them.

For example:

right what he said. I meant diveskin, not divesuit. Heatstroke bad, breathing good. Yeah I think mine was like $45 bucks shipped.

I stopped using my diveskin because it just got too itchy after long wear. I use Under Armour knock-offs -- separates make for easier bathroom runs!

Yea I tried a wet suit just for a few try on miniutes while fitting my armor. OHHH boy was it hot!!! This while I was in a freezing cold Air Conditioned Apartment!! The stuff I wear is Cycling clothes it wicks moisture really well. I even had a nice Silk turtle neck I used it for about 8 months and about 30 troops then it wore out but it was great in California heat. It was on sale at a cycling website for $5 !

wetsuits...BAAAD
unless your a diver like me then you don't want to buy one as an undersuit...use a dive skin...preferably lycra

or do what crimson does and wear under armor

The Walmart underarmor knockoffs work perfectly. I have a warm weather set and a cold weather set. I used to use a dive skin, but it makes it incredibly hard to use the bathroom.
