Here's a few pics I snapped with the phone. It's a bit more orange in person, and the weathering is not complete yet. More to come eventually.

Re: Jaster's Republic Commando Project
Jaster is that a Cushman? I have yet to start on mine. Always looking for pointers. Are you putting electronics in it from Sohryu76?

Re: Jaster's Republic Commando Project
Electronics are already in. Putting a Cushman together is a lot like polishing a turd- soft in some parts, sometimes a pain in the buttocks- all without the corn. I'm going to save up and get a Woodchuck Deece eventually.

Re: Jaster's Republic Commando Project
Here's what's left:
[*] Finish fixing seams on pack and touch up primer, paint, then weather.
[*] Finish left shoe, then spray both shoes with Nu-Life leather spray and weather
[*] Wire helmet for lights, sound and fans
[*] Install visor and el wire
[*] Finish paprika colored paint on shoulder bells and elbows then weather
[*] Make straps for thighs, elastic for elbows and velcro backers for chest, ab, and back
[*] Try to assemble DC-15s sidearm for thigh holster.
[*] Attach velcro to knees so they'll attach to the volleyball kneepads
[*] Wear costume and take some pics for costume approval

Re: Jaster's Republic Commando Project
Thanks, it's dry pastels that have been scraped into powder, then brushed in with a fan brush and wiped every so often with a semi-wet paper towel to "clean" it. I then sealed the weathering in with a matte coat to protect the weathering.

Here's what's left:
[*] Seal backpack and shoes
[*] Make straps for thighs and shoulders
[*] Assemble DC-15s sidearm just for something temporary to throw into the holster.

NOOKA!
Let’s face it; being tracked down by the empire is far more fun for a 5yo than looking at props behind glass.

Re: Jaster's Republic Commando Project
Boss is finally done! Now I have to do 1 more test fitting to some pics to get him approved. Just have to work on a DC-15 sidearm for the right thigh and I'll be good for MC3.
