Quick question about Buckets

Post by Rimshot »

Hey, haven't been around lately due to various reasons. I just wanted to ask a quick question here about buckets.

I was thinking to start up a clone build, I am probably going to try and get a bucket first. I'm planning to do a EpIII clone and I have a somewhat larger head (XXL fitted cap). Well, my question is how would that (if it does) effect my choice of maker? I've trolled the ct.net forums for a bit now, so I wrote down some various makers but just wanted to get any opinions before I commit to anything and find out it wouldn't work.

Thanks in advance.

Remind me never to think of the term bucket as an actual bucket when it comes to stuff like this.....I kept thinking why does this guy want a bucket from here when he can get the stuff he needs from the local warehouse.....

>_<

Haha, yeh. I sorta had the same hangup originally, but it just seems more natural than saying helmet I suppose. Makes you feel cooler.

Wags, PM on the way. Thank you for the help.

One of these days I may end up wearing a bucket due to such a mix-up

When Jeremy Bulloch's son saw The Empire Strikes Back, his only comment was "Daddy, why were you wearing a bucket on your head?" That's pretty much where the term originated for most of us in the SW costuming communities.

Durring WWII the new "steel Pot" style helmet was often refered to as a bucket.Quite often used as an actual bucket as well. Cycling helmets have been called "brain buckets" especialy in mountain biking parlance. So the use of bucket as a discription for helmets has a good long history on the US.

I have an odd feeling that it becomes literally like a black hole...sucking all the wierdness/crazy stuff from the surrounding environment.
