Some "Feminine" Mods to my Shock Trooper
So, Tony asked Humper to draw this totally awesome picture for me for Christmas (see my avatar). His creativity gave me the idea to make (or I should say, have Tony make) a set of Fem Clone armor based on the picture.
A few tweaks here, some costume pieces purchased and we're almost at the finished product! Chest piece just needs to be finished and it's a done deal!
Thanks to Hyper for the idea of the corset to make me unable to breathe while wearing it...but it is actually more comfortable than my armor! Of course, we did take a couple pics with my usual chest piece on and well...I can definately tell that I'm 20 pounds smaller than the last time I wore it!
So, without further ado...here's the almost finished product! A little paint needed on the boxes, a fresh coat on the belt, my chest armor (of course) and straps for my shoes and we'll be done!
The build pics can be viewed here:

Well, the belt is painted and I will be attaching the boxes tonight. So all that is left is to finish the chest/back armor. I have the molds almost done, should be ready to glass by this weekend. I will take more pix and have "JACKIE" post them.. hehe.. Thats her job. Oh, and need to get a hat for her. Then all will be done.

Ok, got the belt done and painted and repainted ALL the armor so its all shiny and clean. No weathering so it fits the pic. Might make her a new long rifle. A bit more accurate to the pic. We will see. Oh, and repainting her bucket was NOT fun.. but it looks good.
I'm ready to glass the chest/back armor this weekend. If I can get up the nads to attack the molds that I spent so much time on... They've got 3 coats on them so they are ready to go, but I might add another coat to prep them.. just in case..

Awesome work there buddy; when's my set coming? But no, seriously when will I get it in the mail.
I need to come over and have you take a look at my bashed up armor; not sure if I got the time before MCCC to fix it properly.

New pics with the belt, and Hyper and Harp.. hehe... I pulled off all the weathering on the armor and most of it on the helmet and repainted the white and red so it matches the pic that Humper drew. Almost done. I should be able to glass the chest and back plate this weekend.

Re: Some "Feminine" Mods to my Shock Trooper
Well, apparently the PAINT that the woman at the Lowes gave me.. um.. SUCKED... I glassed the back plate.. and waited and tested it once it was mostly cured and noticed that it was eating the mold... sooooo I pulled it off and saved it.. somewhat... and yes, I used a release agent.. just so ya know.. hehe
Sooooo, after testing some other options, I remember from fuel proofing the inside of RC airplanes gas tank chambers, that if I water down 2 part epoxy with some denatured alcohol that I can paint it on. So I tested it on some scrap pieces and it worked out nicely. So, I painted the chest with it, let it cure. I touched it up tonight, will let it stand and see tomorrow.
I added some more glass to the back plate today. It turned out ok. Need to do some serious sanding to get the clean lines back, but I'll get there.
So, for your veiwing pleasure, the Jerrico Missile... oh.. wait.. wrong movie.. hehe

A properly made corset should not make it difficult to breath or the boning poking you. Where did you find this corset?Mama_Wags wrote:Thanks to Hyper for the idea of the corset to make me unable to breathe while wearing it...
