Looking for yellow tinted lenses (mirror finish prefered)
It's just like the topic says.... Does anyone have ideas where I could find yellow tinted lens material, with a mirrored finish?

Try a motorcycle shop. When I was working on my Gree helmet back in 2005, I used a HJC green mirrored visor.

Thanks, Wags. There were some other yellow/gold mirrored lenses I looked at on eBay, but those look more promising.

Re: Looking for yellow tinted lenses (mirror finish prefered)
The first one would work better because then you can just buy a clear motocross faceshield from Meijer of all places and apply the film directly and then cut out a single long rectangle that covers both eyes rather than individual lenses. That's how my TD's lenses were done and it's SOOOO much easier than cutting out two ovals or whatever the hell shape they are and trying to glue both of them in.
Ooooh, had another idea, too. If you build in some retaining clips for that rectangular visor piece, you can interchange colors!

I got a green visor, for my Gree, that they use for football helmets. I found it on ebay.

I like that- especially since it has a football connection!G-man wrote:I got a green visor, for my Gree, that they use for football helmets. I found it on ebay.

Because of finances, I had to put off ordering anything. Now, I'm glad I did.

Here is the painted Winged helmet thanks to Rob Miller! http://s1013.photobucket.com/albums/af2 ... 20Trooper/
