Stormtrooper backstory?

I heard of some 501st members coming up with their own TK stories and how they got into the Empire. What plannet did they come from, training, battle stories, etc.

Sounds like a good idea if someone asks "Hey, whats your story? How did you get into the Empire?"

Do any of you guys and girls have a TK backstory?

Honest truth, I've been around 501st Stormtroopers for 14 years and I've not ran across a single one who has ever told me they created a backstory for their trooper. That's the custom Mandos who do that - sort of like role playing game characters do - and they're not 501st.

I saw the thread here and thought it might be a good idea if like a little kid asks, "Where were you when the Death Star was destoryed?" or "Were you in the movies?" I would be like "Yea, I was the one who walked into that sliding door!" or "No, I was on Endor getting hit in the head with rocks by those little fuzzy...what do you call them here on Earth...oh yea! teddybears!"

That way when a kid asks you won't be stammering looking for an answer. I thought it was a good idea.

Winging it can be easy at times but i know that there will be that one question that will end up catching me off guard. Not sure what it would entail but its bound to happen

I already plan on grabbing a full Kit from AP but not until May. Then I just need to find a blaster or somehow make one myself.

When R2 shut down all the garbage compactors it caused a vapor lock which in turn caused the toilet to create back pressure. The force of it blew me off the toilet and I spent the next three months in the sick bay of a medical vessel recovering from my injuries. By the time I recovered the Death Star was destroyed and I was transferred to a unit that provided TIE escorts to a Bantha insemination facility on the outer rim.
