Possible armor modifications?
Possible armor modifications?
So here's my AM Armor kit I bought, as you can see it's a bit big on me, is there any ways this can be trimmed or resized to fit me? I'm 5'7 and this was made for sombody around 6'2.

Re: Possible armor modifications?
It might be as simple as shortening the straps between the chest plate and the ab section and/or the back plate and the kidney plate. This might pull the whole thing up while pulling it down on your shoulders more. Is that foam in there as a spacer between your actual shoulders and shoulder strap? I can't really make it out.
But don't get me wrong, it looks really good.

"Uh, no disrespect intended sir, but whaddya mean, 'If it's locked move on to the next one.' Dontcha think locking the door's the first thing they're gonna do?"

Did you buy it pre-assembled?
Re: Possible armor modifications?
Yeah I bought it with the hopes of modifying it myself.Ripcode wrote:Did you buy it pre-assembled?

Yeah the foam was there so the armor wouldn't run on my sunburn lolMwaynick wrote:mbone wrote:It might be as simple as shortening the straps between the chest plate and the ab section and/or the back plate and the kidney plate. With E6000 I already resized the thigh prices all I have to do is trim them, how does the torso and arms look to you? Look like they need any modifications?

I don't have a TK myself but have you tried the forums on whitearmor.net? There are tons of helpful folks there who are experts with this kind of armor.

He does have unbuilt TK armor made for smaller bodies sitting there, Mwaynick.
