Ron here - I bought my armor five years ago, but had some things come up that halted my build... including my own ineptitude in making anything with my own hands, and being intimidated to start cutting and gluing stuff. I've semi gotten over that, and have continued building. Arms are done, just have to add straps and snaps. But, I want to get the body done in order to assemble the straps that will snap the body to the shoulder bells.
I've checked the white armor site, and it's difficult to find specific tutorials. Anyone know of a good tutorial for assembling the torso?
Also, if there are going to be any build parties, I'm all in. I live in Royal Oak (Detroit area), but can travel.
Thanks!
Ron

A 501st member has youtube videos showing how to build. Can't remember which person.

What specific part are you stuck on? There are many different ways to attach the torso pieces so it's really a matter of preference. I would check some of the build threads on the FISD and I would even suggest you start your own build thread there. When you post pictures of your progress on it, you'll get a lot of helpful comments. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any specific questions.
