It’s been posted on Facebook and Twitter including by his manager that Peter Mayhew passed away Tuesday night. I don’t even have words for this right now.

Peter was such an amazing man.
He was the first celebrity I ever met after joining the 501st in 2003 with Carolina Garrison. I remember him telling the story during our after party of how he fell with the 3PO dummy still attached to him on the Bespin set. He was so kind and his wife Angie was a joy to talk to.
He will be missed.
