I'm Joel - DS-18514 from the Golden Gate Garrison. I've got a work project in Detroit and will be in town and available for an evening meetup Monday April 30th, Tuesday April 31st, Thursday April 2, or Friday April 3.

I can come bearing GGG patches for trade.

I'm staying in Downtown Detroit, but could hop in a Lyft and head anywhere reasonable.

Good deal! I was going to suggest April 3rd, but that is the home opener for the Detroit Tigers, so it might be best to avoid that day. Let's see if we can get a few others to tag along and we'll see where and when works best.

As far as time, I can likely get on the road around 4pm. A coworker gave some suggestions for downtown restaurants and I'm also down to carpool for those of us coming from the suburbs to make parking easier once we get down there. Joel, any favorite types of foods or restaurants you've had your eye on?

I'm not that picky. Anything that's convenient for you all makes sense to me. I don't think anything crazy is happening midtown / downtown Thursday night (unlike opening day on Friday) so it should be pretty quiet around here.
