AWESOME!!! Pretty soon you'll be growling and barking (hopefully not smelling) like a Chewy. Might want to invest in some Carpet Fresh. LOL!! All we need now is Han Solo by your side.

"Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper"!? - "YES, but NOT a Bikerscout"!!
Here's where I am including the completed feet and bandolier.

The plan is to have the rest of the shirt and the pants all hooked by the time I get the mask (hopefully in early December). Then I can work on punching the hair into the mask to be ready for the icehawks game on Jan. 30.
The speaker shirt arrived today and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. The battery pack and remote were fed through the inside of the shirt to the bottom, but I fed the wire through the left sleeve (I'm right handed) and the remote will make it to my hand. I think it's quite good on volume. Will I be able to bellow over parade groups- no. But even with the costume shirt on I should be able to be heard by the people around me. It has an SD card in it with sounds built in, but I can add the Chewie noises to another SD card and swap it out.
Got the speaker shirt to work with Chewie sounds. Loaded mp3 files onto a new SD card and it works like a charm. Not loud enough to bellow to people in a parade or anything, but should do fine for normal meetings with the public. I'll bring it to my events this weekend and get some other opinions on this.
Looks great! I saw a chewbacca one time, he had an E-11 with two metal parts on the sides to make it look like a bowcaster........Pretty powerful gun from what I've heard
I had a dream that at the Star Wars in Concert, Chris dropped off this costume and then disappeared. They didn't have anyone to wear it, and since I could slip out of my costume the fastest I had to put it on. We were up on the stage with the orchestra and the curtain started to go up and I didn't have the shirt on yet Sounds more like a nightmare to me.
On another note, I'm super excited for you to be getting this done. I'll probably make a special trip to an event just so I can see you troop (or wear) this.
I'm making progress on the front of the pants......
I had kind of hit the wall for a couple of days where I just couldn't even force myself to sit down at the table I'm working at!! I think I've pushed through that since the pants are psychologically better because each leg is not as wide as the shirt so you move up faster. It was getting rather depressing working on the shirt for 2 hours and only being 2-3 inches higher than when you started!!
Got an update from duck (the "out east" one - not our Duck) on the mask and he says everything is still on par to have it delivered to my by mid December at the latest. I'd keep my fingers crossed that it stays that way, but it's hard to latch hook with your fingers crossed!!!
