Phase one armor

alright I found a phase one clone helmet and I would like to know it it would be a good Idea to get it or if it's a thing to avoid.

Indeed. While the initial purchase price is cheap, the amount of additional materials and especially labor that need to go into something like that will eventually outweigh the grand total of going immediately to the high-end "underground" items.

There are a lot of hidden costs involved in attempting to make retail items actually replicate the look and also retain the durability that our costumes require.

I agree with Ripcode. Check out clonetroopers.net and read, read and then do some more reading before buying anything. Knowledge is power. As this can be an expensive hobby, you don't want to jump the gun before doing your research. If you do, you will regret it later and it may end up costing you more in the end.

Aye, to avoid repeating the previous post definitely go to the Clone boards and read, read, read. There is a plethora of info there, research is definitely key for the costume.
