Event Request for Memorial Day Parade in St. Clair Shores

I have a good friend who is on the City Council and Parade Board for St. Clair Shores. The Shores has the largest Memorial Day parade in the state, and after she saw my Facebook with pictures from my first NCS, she said she would love to have the Great Lakes Garrison in the parade.

I directed her to the 501st site and put a request in there. I've been watching the events forum, and haven't seen anything come through. So I messaged her last night and she said that the person that normally does the requests said they put it through. So... how long does a request take to come through?

Considering this is my home town, and I was in that parade for as long as I can remember, I'm really excited for this and hope we can get folks to be a part of it.

I've searched my event request emails and do not see a request for that area.
What is the zip code?
What is the name of the person sending the email?

The Zip code would be 48082 or 48081.

When I talked to her last night, she said she would reach out to the person that makes the requests today. So I have a feeling that someone said that they did and actually haven't made the request.

My friend is Candice Rusie. She said that she would put the request in if the other person hadn't.

So I'll keep on her to put in the request ASAP.

We received the event request today.
I have responded and I will get the event posted on the forum in the unconfirmed area once the event date and details are confirmed with the event contact.
