My Kal Skirata build --DONE--

Well seeing as how I am about done (still have to add shins, knees and boot armor) I thought I would post a few shots. I have all the parts done, I just have to add straps to the shins and snaps to the boots and boot armor. Then good to go.

I hope to get the GML ok and do an event or 2 . I am shooting to have it at the March GR game, since we may have all 4 delata squad RC's there. Think it may look kinda cool.

Nice work Rob. I'm not familiar with the character, as I don't follow a lot of the EU material, but it looks neat. The scratches down the front of the helmet look cool as well.

Thanks. I know what I am going to upgrade, it will have to wait cause Diana will pucnh me again.

The one thing that suxs is this frak'n cam, with the flash it turns my flight suit blueish

But this is the real color. With out flash in good lighting

So the color is just about Dead on. Just do not know why it turns blue looking with a flash, But also the only light in the room at the time was a 60 watt bulb. Maybe thats the problem

Color rendering with a standard incandescent lamp is hard to judge. Using a halogen light is the best way to get truer color rendering.

Well. I am now a member of the Mandalorian Mercs costume club. Got the email today saying the costume was approved.

Now we just need 2 more members here in MI to have a MI based Merc Clan (hint hint) over the weekend I made the upper cheeks on the bucket to a brown to match the vest (501st LMO said I should) also said I should make the crimson around the visor to be more a a rust color. Going to work on that later.

Sometimes the EU re-incarnations are done and they are.... Not so fantastic. Yours however has set a VERY high bar for us in MI as far as the Mercs go. And Club wide... I've seen it popping up in reference posts over and over now since the app was approved.

The only thing that has ever bugged me about this is the barrel on that verp.. It looks like a big bore musket..! But that is down to personal taste I think.

Looking forward to later this month and seeing this in person. Nowhere near as nervous about Jaster now that I know someone with some brains in their head is around!

As far as the verp goes....well they do call it a "shatter gun" I guess a slug out of that would shatter anything it hit. and make people who have it point'n at them "shatter" their pants
