Maybe I'm blind, but I missed the thickness on the website.Mr Fett wrote:Says .90 gauge ABS. I know that's the same thickness that both MC and DL list for their Snowtrooper armor. But I don't know off-hand what thickness all the TK vendors normally use.
DL uses 60 for his TK helmets.
RS and TM use 60, TM will use 80 acrylic capped by request.
MTK uses 70 gauge, used to use 80.
ATA and AP use 80 gauge.
MC and AM use 93 gauge, AM is acrylic capped.
TE and TE2 used 93 gauge styrene back in the day.

It's in the FAQ link Flash posted about this TK suit. As far as my mentioning the DL and MC Snowy armor plastic gauge, I knew that from the Blizzard Force forum, where they listed it.

What it doesn't tell me is what size the helmet is.
If it's AP-like, I can't wear it. If it's closer to RT or better yet, ATA ( ), then yes, I could.
(not that I'm actually in the market for any costumes anyway, since I have this little thing called "tuition" to pay for....)

Yeah, you’re one of the three I mentioned seeing on Facebook saying you ordered a set. I’ve also seen a few other GLG members post on there that they’re strongly considering getting in on this pre-order as well.Kcjohnson wrote:I took the plunge and ordered a set also.

The helmet is the brother of AP. Both are GF based.Crimson wrote:What it doesn't tell me is what size the helmet is.

Re: ANOVOS = Argh! (now I have to make a decision)
Facebook is telling me 2 more GLG members have purchased this set. As I said earlier in this thread, who knows how many more Anovos TK's will be popping up around here next year that didn't actually post about it.

I just saw this on the RPF and thought of you all.
According to the Anovos Rep "Got Maul" when asked about an ETA for shipment - "We are looking at November. Hopefully sooner !"
and according to the Anovos Stormtrooper FAQ...
When does it ship?
We are presently looking at a Winter 2015 ship date, and are aiming to have this out between the months of October and November... for obvious reasons.
Information and confirmation that they are "trying" to beat there Winter 2015 estimate. Will they do it? We shall see

As much as I want to I won't be ordering it. I don't have a spare $350. I'm just gonna have to be patient.

Re: ANOVOS = Argh! (now I have to make a decision)
I know of 3 GLGers replacing their old FX armor with this Anovos set, and they said they even paid more $ for their FX set "back in the day" than what this more accurate armor is on sale for right now.
